Project Introduction

Miko Engineering completed this three-storey fire escape back in January 2022 at the newly developed Three Mile Gosforth Hotel & Restaurant. The large steel structure reached 10m tall at its highest point, with a width of almost 6m. The structure was fabricated in-house by our expert team using a combination of Universal Column, box section, treadplate and laser cut profiles.

Project Brief / Background

The two-ton structure also included a profile sheet roof to improve the aesthetics and to keep guests/staff dry in case of an emergency. The perforated handrail was also manufacture in-house, with the panels being laser cut for the bespoke job.
