Introduction
Wembley High School asked Miko Engineering to come in with the aim of creating a covered area for students when they were moving from classroom to classroom.
The architect on this project designed the school with minimal internal corridors so as to save on the build costs, preferring to spend the build budget on classrooms. As a result, Miko was asked to manufacture and install nine covered walkways, one of which covered an area of 186 meters square.
All of the canopies have light boxes with L.E.D.’s which look great at night.
