Miko Engineering was commissioned to design, manufacture and install a bespoke air-dried oak timber-covered walkway forming part of the Residents’ Club at The Brentford Project.
The Residents’ Club – known as The Wick- is a private members’ wellness and leisure facility exclusively for residents, offering a gym, spa, pool and landscaped outdoor spaces designed to promote wellbeing and community.
Positioned within the development’s network of lanes and gardens, the walkway plays an important role in enhancing connectivity, shelter and the overall user experience within this premium environment.
Developed by Ballymore Group, the scheme is a major mixed-use regeneration project transforming a 12-acre riverside site into a vibrant new residential and commercial neighbourhood. The development reconnects Brentford High Street with the waterfront, creating a network of pedestrian-friendly lanes, public spaces and community areas.
Within this high-profile environment, Miko Engineering’s role was to deliver a high-quality, visually sympathetic covered walkway that complements the architectural vision while enhancing the user experience.
