Project Brief / Background

One example of this is Bell’s Bridge in Glasgow. Glasgow City Council wanted to fully refurbish the pedestrian bridge that linked the BBC building and the iconic music centre.

What Was Done

The covered walkway was completely refurbished the covered walkway by installing a new polycarbonate canopy with stainless steel trim. The bridge also included a new hand rail alongside matching gates to the bridge.

The work that was undertaken has completely transformed an eyesore into a feature that the city can be proud of. The city is so proud of Bell’s bridge that it has been showcased as the backdrop for news items on BBC Scotland.
